Description

Katsuya Tokunaga Atelier Tokyo is a sub-label of "The Boots Factory," the larger company responsible for Rolling Dub Trio and Tokyo Sandal, among a few others. K.T.A. focuses on smaller leather goods than the boots and bags of the other brands, with a narrower lineup that highlights the leather and hardware first and foremost. The styles are perfectly practical, designed for daily use with some very thoughtful storage details, but never sacrifice quality or aesthetics, showcasing highly unique and popular leathers from famous tanneries around the world. All Katsuya Tokunaga Atelier goods are handmade in Tokyo, Japan.

The Double Card Case is a card-sized wallet with a snap closure and a surprising amount of pockets inside. Essentially just a shrunken trucker wallet, it's got room for several different plastic cards (or metal if you're fancy) as well as some folded bills. Easy to fit into just about any pocket you might have on your person, it's a great everyday wallet, especially if you aren't the type to carry many bills or cards in general. Minimal, but without missing any details.

It's made from a black Italian horsebutt leather — sourced from the world-famous Maryam Tannery, this leather is noticeably thick, with a subtle grain texture and a gentle shine across its face. Over time, the black dye on the outside of the leather will wear down, revealing the natural/brown inside as the patina develops. This particular horsebutt leather was selected and cut for its thickness, showing off some of the most robust sections of the hide to signal that these wallets are as thick as they're going to get, and that they won't balloon out after adding a few payment methods to the inside.

Orders to Hawaii, Alaska, AE/APO addresses, and PO boxes will be shipped with USPS. All other US orders will ship UPS unless otherwise requested.
